Dear Brethren,

We were all deeply saddened to hear of the tragedy that occurred at Columbine High School. This is especially true now that we know that Tim McMaster's son, Jonathan, was in the school and had to experience such mayhem among his peers. We certainly pray for the McMasters family and all the others who endured this trial.

Probably even those of you who were not present or had no personal involvement with the school have suffered a great trauma due to the emotional stress such horrible events bring. Surely we can all relate to and empathize with the families in their grief.

Thankfully, our God is still all powerful and able to give aid and comfort to those who seek it from Him. He is also carrying out a master plan to bring peace and safety to all people. Meantime, it is Satan's world and we must expect the worst and ask for God's constant protection and deliverance.
