The reason that I am writing to you is to express my utter disgust with some in your newly formed organisation. Is it officially part of "Living" policy not to respond, or do you simply refuse to countenance any criticism, justified or otherwise? Each day that goes by I thank God that I decided to stay with the Global Church of God, who seem to have retained a Godly attitude towards their neighbours.

You are probably not aware of the abominable treatment that we have recieved over here, apparently in punishment for our refusal to lie down and be walked over by your crazy LCG agents.

I have just received another telephone call from David Sheridan, claiming to be acting under your instructions. He is that erratic amateur "lawyer", renowned for unpredictible mood swings, who has been harrasing our people now for weeks. You may not rate our lawyer, Norbert Link, very highly, but at least his behaviour is far better this man's.

I was present when this character Sheridan spoke to Mrs Jane Oakden on the telephone. An experience which left her shaking with fear. I won't go into his reputation here, which has been graphically documented in the public forum. Let's just let the fruits speak for themselves.

I attach a copy of a report, from our Corporate Secretary, of an incident which took place the other day at our Registered Office:

"I advise you that today David Sheridan in the company of his wife and young daughter visited my office and demanded to see the public records of the Global Church of God.  I contacted the Scottish Charities Office who advised me that I should take a note of his name and address and undertake to supply such information as he was entitled to (ie the last estblished accounts, the accounting reference date and the Memorandum and Articles of Association) by post within 30 days providing he was prepared to pay reasonable postage costs.  Notwithstanding that all of these are available to the public at Companies House in Edinburgh.

When I told Sheridan this he started shouting and bawling and saying he had rights etc etc and proceedd to call the police on his mobile telephone. I asked him to leave my office and when he refused I started to usher him towards the door and he threatened to physically assault me. All this time he was talking to the police and I assume they advised him to leave the office and await their arrival since he now did this. When the police arrived he spoke to them for some time no doubt about what he thought his rights were and as the constable who came in to speak to me told me he pulled sheafs of paper from his briefcase and went on about the Board Roderick Meredith and so on. While all this was going on the police were observing Sheridan on their security cameras opposite my office and Dectective Inspector Steven telephoned me from his office and asked me who Sheridan was and his address. When I told him this he fed it into his police computer and Sheridans name immediately came up as someone well known to the police. The Constable with me took a statement from me and I was advised to contact the police if Sheridan should come near me or harrass me in any way in future. The Constable with me then spoke to her superior and advised me that Sheridan would be told to leave and if he refused he would be arrested for breach of the peace. I have also been advised by our bankers that Sheridan has written to them making allegations about the legality of our cheque signatories and suggesting he might take legal action against them if they did not freeze our bank account. I have advised the bank that I have written legal opinion that the present Board and consequently signatories are properly and legally in office.

I invited Don Haney, Lambert Greer or any LCG spokesman to join me in unequivocal condemnation of this behaviour, only to be faced with the now characteristic "deafening silence."

Could you please confirm that Mr Sheridan is, indeed, "Company (or Corporate) Secretary of the Living Church of God in the UK" as I am reliably informed, and that the said company, No. 191915, Living Church of God UK, Registerd in Scotland, has, as its UK registered office, a rented local authority Council Flat which is subsidised by Glasgow rate payers, and which is occupied by the Presiding Local Elder? Are the authorites aware of this and has permission been obtained from them for such use?

This information will be needed by me in a future report to the Police, Charity Commission and local authorities, which I fully intend to make if this behaviour by an official of LCG UK is not immediately terminated and formally disowned by your organisation, with a full official apology to that effect.

Unlike Mr Sheridan, I am not in regular contact with the Police and, consequently, have a higher standing in their eyes as a result. We cannot tolerate this ungodly treatment indefinitely, and hereby give formal warning that we have no intention of doing so.

Please note that I do not wish to have any communication, either with this man, Sheridan, or Don Haney, whose recent visit to these Isles was entirely dedicated to further division of the brethren. We just need them to leave us alone. We are totally convinced, by their behaviour, that these agents are out to destroy us. You have our deepest sympathy for having such people in your numbers.

However, please note that this notice, together with the witnesses herewith, will be part of the public record of our request to you for action on this matter. Failure to respond will be viewed accordingly.

I look forward to hearing from you before the end of today, so that the matter can be resolved quickly and amicably.

I am responding from Mrs. McNair's machine, so I can reply to all of those you had sent your message to. (You had left me out, inadvertently, I'm sure). (I omitted Steve Bode, however, who told me that he does not want to get any messages from me). (And Carl McNair's address is wrong, and I don't have his correct one).

Thanks for your kind words about me. I try to behave professionally, even though some, in their misguided zeal, may not think so.

I AM appalled about what is going on in the UK. Mr. Sheridan, who has been DISFELLOWSHIPPED from GCG, does not seem to get the picture, does he? IF he is indeed the LCG Secretary, that would be mind staggering.

I wrote Bob Letham to congratulate him about his professional conduct. I hope too that LCG break their silence for once and respond. (I am waiting for responses, too, for questions I have asked one of them). Don Haney sometimes writes on the Internet, but his information is so woefully inaccurate, that it's almost impossible to rectify all his erroneous conclusions (He was, of course, NEVER in any of the meetings he speaks so authoritatively about, so his expertise is based on nothing but HEARSAY, at best. And he is so wrong in so many cases).
